As a chiropractor in Newark, I have enjoyed practicing in the exact same location for that since we opened in 1986. We are located within the Omega Professional Center, surrounded by other medical professionals. This has always been a great benefit for us as it has given us the ability to order advanced imaging, blood work, or to refer a patient to a specialist in the same complex in a speedy and concise fashion.
Dr. Richard McKay explains, "I was fortunate to be able to add Dr. Shaun Rinow to my practice almost 4 years ago and during that time, I have had the opportunity to watch his skill, his patient concern, and his expertise to the the co-management of our patients. Rehabilitative Care : Your Choice
Having been in practice for over 25 years and having some patients who have been under care for that entire time is very rewarding. At Advanced Back & Neck Pain Centers we have patients with 70 year old spines, that look better now, then when they were 50 years old! But the choice is always the patients.
The choice you make to go forward with correcting the problems with your spine is similar in scope to the orthodontic approach. Through a series of treatments in conjunction with in-office and at home exercises we will be working together to fix your spine and /or get it as close as possible to normal. It takes a longer time period (depending upon the degree of degeneration in your spine) but results in a much better correction than just a "patch job" (relief care)
Wellness Care
We encourage our patients to achieve the highest levels of health they can. we hope to communicate the value of ongoing chiropractic care. Our desire is that there will be a conscious shift away from using medications to mask symptoms and a realization that the majority of health problems, can be corrected and you don’t have to “live with it”. We want to see our practice members abandon the prevailing sickness care model of health (waiting for symptoms and then taking action), and be in favor of the emerging wellness model.
